Wedding: Dinkel and Voth

Denise Rae Dinkel and Jeremy Lynn Voth were married May 26, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Darren Henson officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The bride’s attendants were Karen Blackburn, sister of the bride, and Stacy Whited. The groomsmen were Kendall Voth, brother of the bridegroom, and Ben Schmidt. Kate Szambecki was the flower girl. Ushers were Tyson Blackburn, Zane Unrau and Kelcy Voth. Barb and Jennifer Newell were the wedding musicians. Allan Dinkel was the reader. The guestbook attendants were Kelsey Rose and Brooke Evans.
The wedding reception and dinner were at Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Colorado Springs and Denver. They live in Newton.
The bride and bridegroom graduated from Kansas State University, she with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance, he with a bachelor’s degree in construction science. She works at the Citizen’s State Bank in Hesston. He is the owner of Voth Construction.
She is the daughter of Ron and Vickie Dinkel of Emporia. She is the granddaughter of Rudy and JoAnn Dinkel of Grainfield and Larry and Bonnie Evans of Gove.
He is the son of Verney and Janice Voth of Goessel. He is the grandson of Marvin and Linda Voth and Hilda Unruh of Goessel.

Engagement: Ashton and Ziegler

Emily Nicole Ashton of Topeka and Cody Lee Ziegler of Emporia announce their engagement.
Ashton graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in family studies and human services. She is in the marriage and family therapy graduate program at KSU. She also is an academic advisor at KSU.
Ziegler attends Kansas State University where he is studying family studies and human services. He plans to graduate in December. He is the youth director at the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.
She is the daughter of Jim and Kyle Ashton of Topeka.
He is the son of Brenda Cook and Stanley and Denise Ziegler of Columbia, Mo.
The couple plan to marry Dec. 29, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan.

Wedding: Kindhart and Price

Angie Michelle Kindhart and Logan Taylor Price were married at the home of Bruce and DeeAnn Knaak in an outdoor ceremony on Aug. 4, 2007. The honorable judge Lee Fowler officiated at the evening ceremony, assisted by Ted Vannocker.
The matron of honor was Maria Clark. The best man was Jordan Price, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendant was Jenn Christman. The groomsman was Devon Price, brother of the bridegroom. The usher was Zach Kindhart, brother of the bride. Flower girls were Logan and Keaton McKinney. The guestbook and program attendants were Megan Trimpe and Amanda Leonard.
The wedding reception was at the Emporia Country Club. Cake and punch attendants were Debra Pound and Susan Kolzow. The rehearsal dinner was at Bruff’s Bar and Grill.
The couple took a honeymoon cruise to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico.
The bride will graduate in December from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in general biology. She is the manager of Hibbett’s Sports.
The bridegroom is a maintenance electrician for Menu Foods Midwest.
She is the daughter of David and Karen Kindhart of Emporia. She is the grandddaughter of Leo and Wanda Kindhart of Hutchinson, the late William and Doris Peters and the late Shirley Kindhart.
He is the son of Rocky and Marcella Price of Emporia. He is the grandson of Bill and Carol Nigh of Howard, Valda Price of Emporia and the late John Price.

Engagement: Schaefer and James

Brian and Gena Schaefer and Robert and Debby James of Emporia announce the engagement of their children, Ashley Schaefer and Kevin James.
Schaefer will graduate in December from Emporia State University with a degree in health promotion. She works at Emporia Fitness.
James graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in engineering. He works for Glendo Corp.
The couple plan to marry Oct. 6, 2007, at Emporia.

Wedding: Brooks and Shaw

Kendra Brooks and Chris Shaw were married June 30, 2007, at Faith Lutheran Church. The Revs. Clarence Marquardt and Mark Eichler officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maids of honor were Ashley Brooks and Whitney Brooks, sisters of the bride. The best man was Brandon Wentworth. The bride’s other attendants were Marissa Depew, Darcy Meier and Jerri Maris.
The groomsman were Eric Shaw and Gary McNally, brothers of the bridegroom, Dave Johnson and Jason Seimens. Brooklyn Wiltz was the flower girl. Candlelighters were Amber Fiske and Katie Yevak. Ushers were Dirk Jones and Eric Lundin.
The wedding musician was Mary Jo Marquardt. Emily Silvers was the guestbook attendant. The bride’s personal attendant was Nicki Taylor-Morris.
The wedding reception was at the Anderson Building. The bride’s aunts were the reception attendants. The rehearsal dinner was at Bruff’s Bar and Grill.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Sandal’s Resort at Dunn’s River, Jamaica, and live in McPherson.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School and Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Salina Regional Health Center.
The bridegroom graduated from Aloha High School and Oregon State University with a bachelor’s degree in biology management information and chemistry. He is a production supervisor at Hospira, Inc.
She is the daughter of Eddie and Vicki Brooks of Emporia. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Betty Brooks and Jerry and Connie Wenciker of Emporia and Ivan and Mary Jane Rees of Topeka.
He is the son of John and Mary McNally of Beaverton, Ore., and Mike Shaw of Wichita. He is the grandson of Vernon Dicke of Oregon.
