Anniversary: Love
Levern and Myra Love of Lebo celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18. A family celebration is planned for later in the fall.
Myra Lee Irwin and Levern Love were married Oct. 18, 1942, at the First Presbyterian Church in Emporia. They have lived in the rural Lebo community for most of their married life.
Levern Love served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and is a retired electrician. Myra Lee Love is a homemaker.
The Loves’ children and children’s spouses are: John Scott and Leanna Love of Lebo, Mike and Vicki Love and Andy and Brenda Love of rural Neosho Rapids, Larry and Jane Love King of Hillsboro and Mike and Nancy Love Croucher of Westphalia. There are 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Anniversary: Roglin
Albert and Edith Roglin of Emporia will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Friday. They will have a family dinner Sunday at the American Legion with their two daughters, son-in-law, granddaughter and her husband and their son: Steve and Ginny Honomichl of Baldwin and Sally Roglin of Emporia; and Brian and Abby Haight and Brady Haight.
