Anniversary: Hoffmans
Carl and Nancy Hoffmans will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Friday.
Nancy McGee and Carl Hoffmans were married June 1, 1957, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington.
They will celebrate later in the summer with their family and friends. Their sons and daughters-in-law are Kevin and Jennifer Hoffmans of Topeka, Andy and Amy Hoffmans of Marble Falls, Texas, David and Angie Hoffmans of Benton, Ark., and Aaron and Lara Hoffmans of San Mateo, Calif. They have six grandchildren.
Carl retired after working 40 years with the ESU Printing Service. Nancy retired from Newman’s store as a buyer and salesperson.
Anniversary: Haden
Billy Jack and Ruth Ann Meirowsky Haden of Wamego will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. June 10 at the Wamego Senior Center, 501 Ash St. Hosts will be their three daughters, Kathy Dieball, Barbara Haden and Jennifer Arensdorf.
Ruth Ann Meirowsky and Billy Jack Haden were married June 6, 1957, at Strong City.
Billy Jack works for Shilling Construction Company in Manhattan and Ruth Ann is a homemaker.
