Engagement: Nelson and Durham
Former Emporians Tom and Synda Durham of Dakota Dunes, S.D., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cami Durham, also formerly of Emporia, to Kory Nelson, son of Kevin and Janie Nelson of Sioux City, Iowa.
Durham graduated from Emporia High School. After receiving her associate’s degree, she plans to attend the University of South Dakota in the fall of 2007 to study social work.
Nelson graduated from Morningside Christian High School in Sioux City, Iowa. He is a financial services manager at Art Silva Lincoln Mercury Toyota in Sioux City.
The couple plan to marry June 9, 2007, at the Southern Hills Baptist Church in Sioux City, Iowa. There will be a reception on July 21 at the Flint Hills Christian Church in Emporia.
Engagement: Free and Hall
Robert and Stephanie Hall of North Pole, Alaska, and former Emporians Kenny and Nancy Free of Red Oaks, Iowa, announce the engagement of their children, Rebecca Mae Hall and Johnathan Hunter Free.
Hall graduated from North Pole High School and works at Lowe’s at North Pole.
Free graduated from Emporia High School and the Flint Hills Technical College. He is stationed at Fielson Air Force Base in Alaska.
The couple plan to marry July 14, 2007, at Fairbanks, Alaska.
