Anniversary: Kusmauls
Lester and Shirley Kusmaul of rural Reading celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family trip to the Ozarks.
Shirley Ann Rees and Lester John Kusmaul were married July 21, 1957 at the First Methodist Church in Emporia. The Rev. Clyde S. Clark officiated at the ceremony.
The Kusmauls’ children are Patricia Vonfeldt of Maize and Mark Kusmaul, Gina Nuessen and Stephen Kusmaul, all of Emporia. Two of their children, Tamalin Sue Naylor and Suzanne Kusmaul, died earlier. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
