Wedding: Dunn and Anderson
Amber Danae Dunn and Michael James Anderson were married May 12, 2007, at the Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kathy Williams officiated at the afternoon wedding.
The maid of honor was Erin Neussen. The best man was Daniel Anderson, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendant was Sheri Mayer. The groomsman was Shane Anderson, brother of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Ellie Anderson, daughter of the couple.
Candlelighters were Kendra and Kara Wolf. Ushers were Travis Dunn and Zeke Luna, brothers of the bride, and Jake Luna. Abby Seastrom and Tasha Essex were the guestbook attendants.
The wedding reception and dance were at the Eagles Club.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Waikiki Beach in Hawaii and live in Madison.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School, has an associate’s degree in arts and is continuing studies for a nursing degree. She works for the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia High School and works for the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Department.
She is the daughter of Mike and Lori Luna of Emporia. She is the granddaughter of Ray and Donna Luna of Emporia, Nellie Chenoweth, Harold Hinck and the late Howard Dunn, all of Burlingame, and Clarence and Darlene Bobendrier of Pomona.
He is the son of Cara Anderson of Coffeyville and Donald Anderson of Marysville, Calif. He is the grandson of Lila Anderson and Keith Schrock, both of Emporia, and Ruth Smolen of Panama City, Fla.
Wedding: Reed and Schaefer
Jessica Reed and Jesse Schaefer were married June 9, 2007, at the Wisconsin Dells. Leo Grill, justice of the peace, officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Angela Durham. The best man was Curtis Couch.
The wedding reception was also at Wisconsin Dells.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Pine Grove Park Bed and Breakfast and live in LaCrosse, Wis.
Both graduated from Emporia State University. She is a human resource manager. He works for Badger Corrugating.
She is the daughter of Michael and Angela Durham of LaCrosse, Wis., and Michael Reed of Booneville, Miss.
He is the son of Julia Schaefer of Emporia and Randy Schaefer of Waverly.
Their grandparents are Kay Mollett of Kansas City, Kan., and Don and Bonnie Schaefer and Vernon and Lynn Cook of Emporia.
Engagement: Cooper and Miller
Clay and Connie Cooper of Cottonwood Falls and Tim and Toni Peterson and Mark Miller of Strong City announce the engagement of their children, Lacey Cooper and Matthew Miller, both of Rantoul.
Cooper and Miller graduated from Chase County High School. She will graduate in December from Johnson County Community College with a degree in juvenile justice.
She works at Hyvee and Rigmaster Power in Olathe.
He owns and operates Auxiliary Power Products in Olathe.
They plan to marry Sept. 15, 2007, at the home of the bride’s parents.
