60 Years
John A. and Marilyn Weber of Emporia celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Their children are Rogar and Sharon Wallace of Anchorage, Alaska; John A. Jr., and Muoi Weber and Joyce Weber of Emporia; Mark and Judy Weber of Ottawa; and David Weber of Olathe. They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Marilyn V. Friedebach and John A. Weber were married June 28, 1947, at Sacred Heart Church in Sedalia, Mo.
John is a retired farmer and Marilyn, a retired district manager for the Kansas City Star.

50 Years
Jerry and Georgia Lorraine Marshall of Emporia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Best Western Motel. Hosts will be their daughter and five sons, Lori Marshall Winegarner and Kevin Marshall, both of Wichita, Todd Marshall of Virginia, Brad Marshall of Tulsa, Okla., Keith Marshall of Longton, Colo., and Michael Marshall of Merrimack, N.H. They have 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Georgia Lorraine Duncan and Jerry Marshall were married July 7, 1957, at Emporia. They have lived at 1101 E. Logan Ave., for 45 years, where they raised their six children.
