Dan and Brenda Nichols of Emporia announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethanie Ann Nichols, to Justin William Petersen, son of Jeffrey Petersen of Emporia and the late Roberta “Jeannie” Petersen.
Nichols graduated from Lebo High School and attends Emporia State University where she is studying psychology.
Petersen graduated from Emporia High School and attends Emporia State University where he is studying music education.
Both plan to graduate in May 2009.
The couple plan to marry Dec. 28, 2007, at the New Life Christian Church.
