Sarah Leeann Jones and Matthew Lee Zumbrunn were married May 26, 2007, in New Strawn. The honorable judge Phillip Fromme officiated at the late morning ceremony.
The wedding reception was at the New Strawn Community Center. The couple live in Hartford.
The bride graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in human biology and works at Newman Regional Health.
The bridegroom graduated from Hutchinson Community College with an associate’s degree in fire science and works for the Emporia Fire Department.
She is the daughter of Lee and Renay Jones of Burlington and the late Nancy Jones. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Jones of Cary, N.C.
He is the son of Stephen and Ava Zumbrunn of Neosho Rapids. He is the grandson of Russell and Janet Heckathorn of Neosho Rapids and Wauneta Zumbrunn of Ottawa.

Former Admire resident Natasha Nicole Treeby and James Robert Simonson of Oklahoma City announce their engagement.
Treeby graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree. She works at Mercy Health Center and Fox 25 Studio.
Simonson graduated from the University of Alabama with a medical degree. He is a doctor at the University of Oklahoma HSC in Oklahoma City.
She is the daughter of Bobby and Penny K. Hudgens of Shawnee, Okla., and Colin H. and Mary Treeby of Rapid City, S.D.
He is the son of Richard and Susan Simonson of Mobile, Ala.
The couple plan to marry Oct. 20, 2007, in Gulf Shores, Ala.
Engagement: Baysinger and Erikson
Dale and Cindy Baysinger and Lee and Ann Erickson of Laramie, Wyo., announce the engagement of their children, Kelli D. Baysinger and Leif D. Erickson.
Baysinger is the granddaughter of Beulah Spillman of Emporia. She graduated from Laramie High School and from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing. She is a property manager for CDK Properties in Laramie.
Erickson graduated from Laramie High School and works for the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
The couple plan to marry Sept. 1, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Laramie.

Arthur and Denise Eccles of Gridley announce the engagement of their daughter, Janice Eccles to Marc Rummel, son of Randy Rummel of Salina and the late Debra Rummel.
Eccles graduated from Gridley High School and from Neosho County Community College with a nursing degree. She is a telemetry nurse at St. Lukes South in Overland Park.
Rummel graduated from Chase County High School in Cottonwood Falls and attended Emporia State University. He is a co-owner of Midwest Lifetime Roof Systems in Olathe.
The couple plan to marry Sept. 22, 2007, at Truelove Farms outside of Burlington.

Laura Darby and John Berger of Topeka announce their engagement.
Darby graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is an administrative assistant at Prudential First, Realtors.
Berger graduated from Hutchinson Community College with an associate’s degree, from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and from Emporia State University with a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology. He is an organizational development senior analyst at Payless Shoe Source.
She is the daughter of Marla Darby of Emporia and Thane Darby of Pleasanton, Neb.
He is the son of Ed and Carol Berger of Hutchinson.
The couple plan to marry Oct. 27, 2007, at the First Congregational Church.
