Engagement: Alderfer and Maley

Kenneth and Cindy Alderfer of Sabetha and Doug and Teresa Maley of Emporia announce the engagement of their children, Ashley Alderfer and Scott Maley.
Alderfer graduated from Sabetha High School and Washburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She attends the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry Doctor of dental Surgery program.
Maley graduated from Emporia High School and Washburn University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. He attends the University of Kansas School of Medicine M.D. program.
The couple plan to marry June 22, 2007, at Sabetha.

Engagement: Fletcher and Sprague

Jenna Fletcher and Justin Sprague announce their engagement.
Fletcher graduated from Iola high School, attended Allen County Community College and graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She teaches fourth grade at Logan Avenue Elementary.
Sprague graduated from Crest High School and from Allen County Community College, he earned a bachelor’s degree in justice studies. He attends Emporia State University where he is studying for a degree in business. He also works for the City of Emporia.
She is the daughter of Nancy Powers of Gas and J.T. and Candy Fletcher of Moran.
He is the son Lonnie and Jo Helen Sprague of Kincaid.
The couple plan to marry Nov. 4, 2006, at the First Christian Church in Iola.

Wedding: Boden and Chamberlain

Nikki Boden and Zac Chamberlain were married July 22, 2006, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca. The Rev. Mike Kola officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The maid of honor was Natalie Boden, sister of the bride. The best man was Cole Chamberlain, brother of the bridegroom. The bride’s other attendants were Dana Boden and Dee Boden, sisters of the bride, Lori Boden, Lora Marti, Renee Meyn and Laura Ranieri. The grooomsmen were Lucas Lill, Larry Kramer, Craig Mueting, Bob Kramer, Clint Huerter and Kellen Potter. The flower girl was Madison Hammes; the ring bearer was Miles Hammond. Candlelighters were Emily Lill and Meghann Maddux. Ushers were Chris Boden, Kevin Boden, Chris Clark and James Mueting. The wedding musicians were the Salina South High School String Quartet. Andy Lohmann was the reader.
The wedding reception was at the Seneca Knights of Columbus Hall. Personal attendants were Michele Lohmann and Sheri Mueting. The rehearsal dinner was at Valentino’s in Seneca.
The couple took an Eastern Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon.
The bride graduated from Nemaha Valley High School and Kansas State University. She is a chemistry teacher at Salina South High School.The bridegroom graduated from Emporia High School and Emporia State University. He is a commercial loan officer at Security Savings Bank in Salina.
She is the daughter of Bob and Joyce Boden of Seneca.
He is the son of Gail Chamberlain of Emporia and the late Jack Chamberlain.
Grandparents of the couple are Agnes Boden and Mary Mueting of Seneca and Arlyn and Martha Schuler of Bella Vista, Ark.
