The maid of honor was Kim Pock. The best man was Jeff Matile. The bride’s attendants were Stacey Eichhorn, Amy Schuh and Teresa Gevens. The groomsmen were Eric Burris, Matt Schuh and Ryan Gevens. The flower girls were Tara and Morgan Gevens. Ushers were Dustin Hardin and Ben Moore. Rachel Stueve was the guestbook attendant.
The wedding reception was at the Best Western Hospitality House; the rehearsal dinner was at the Olpe Chicken House.
The couple took a wedding trip to Colorado.
The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University and from the University of Saint Mary with a master’s degree. She works for TFI Family Services.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia State University and works for the Department of Transportation.
She is the daughter of Jim Gevens and Gwen Gevens, both of Yankton, S.D.

The bride’s other attendants were Mindy Amend and Sondra Day, sisters of the bride, Jennifer Jarvis, sister of the bridegroom, and Danielle Raber. The groomsmen were Pete Day, brother of the bride, and Josh Jarvis, Tim Jarvis and Matt Jarvis, all brothers of the bridegroom. The flower girl was Nichole Keller. Candlelighters were Mindy Amend and Sondra Day, sisters of the bride. Ushers were Damon Deetz and Garrett Fisher. The wedding musicians were Sondra Day and Pete Day and Tim Jarvis. She is enrolled at Emporia State University where she is getting a bachelor’s of education teaching license in secondary education in English and physical education.

She is the daughter of Bruce and Joleen Day of Council Grove.

Harrouff is a sophomore student at Emporia State University where she is studying pre-physical therapy.
Storrer attend the Flint Hills Technical College where he is studying computer programming.
Both work at Coburn’s Family Restaurant.
The couple plan to marry June 23, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church.
She is the daughter of Mark and Janet Harrouff of Emporia.
He is the son of Jerry and Donna Storrer of Emporia.

Engagement: Pobolish and Mitchell

Gregory and Carol Mitchell of Emporia and Ronald and Laura Pobolish of Moundsville, W. Va., announce the engagement of their children, Holly Renee Mitchell and Chet Anthony Pobolish.
Mitchell graduated from Emporia High School, Flint Hills Technical College in the nursing program and from Washburn University with a degree in respiratory therapy. She works at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
Pobolish graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in physical education. He is a quarterback coach at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
The couple plan to marry on Dec. 30, 2006, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

The maid of honor was Sarah Mitchell. The best man was Jamie Pasquith. The bride’s other attendants were Renee Rodriguez, Lana Benoit and Amy Monaco. The bride’s personal attendant was Shelly Edwards. The groomsmen were Dave Resch, Randy Robertson and Justin Cobbs. The flower girl was Kate Dreiling; the ring bearer was Jake Dreiling. Curtis Doile and Blake Jones were the ushers. Alex Rodriguez was the program attendant. Stephanie Carroll was the guestbook and gift attendant. The couple, along with the wedding party, were taken by trolley to the reception at the Topeka Ramada Inn. Live music was played by the Easy Pieces band. The rehearsal dinner was at the Celtic Fox.
The bride graduated from Emporia High School, Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and Washburn University with a master’s degree in criminal justice. She is a care manager and intake specialist with TFI Family Services in Topeka.
The bridegroom graduated from Emporia High School. Butler County Community College and Pittsburg State University with a degree in psychology. He works for Jayhawk Beverage in Topeka.
She is the daughter of Chris and Connie Phillips of Emporia.
Her grandparents are the late Lloyd and Pat Doile of Emporia and the late Lester and Ruby Phillips of Chanute.
He is the son of Mike and Marian Wood of Emporia. He is the grandson of Dorothy Lawrence and the late Earl Lawrence of Marion and Dr. Earl and Louise Wood also of Marion.
