Lyon County Sheriff

A Hartford High School student was arrested Friday morning for making verbal threats toward other students. 

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office was called to Hartford High School Friday morning at approximately 11:45 a.m. for a threats past call. Sheriff's deputies investigated the report and it was determined a 15-year-old male student had made verbal threats toward other students prior to Friday. 

"The juvenile male suspect was arrested and transported to a juvenile detention center," Lyon County Sheriff's Sergeant Doug Stump said. "Felony charges are pending through the Lyon County District Court."
